Is it just me or are the gaps between holidays getting shorter and shorter?
The pumpkins hadn’t begun to rot in November when the Christmas lights went up and now we haven’t even had a chance to make our new year’s resolutions before the Crème Egg ads hit our screens.
Our calendar has become one long party with a roll over hangover to the next festival.
But in a world where every day is a holiday then nothing is really special any more. It’s like that Monty Python sketch where everyone was Superman but no one could repair a punctured bicycle tyre.
