Bah Humbug

How the Grinch Stole Christmas

We’re more incensed than usual to hear that top executives at Ireland’s Central Remedial Clinic (CRC) went one step further than taking candy from a baby and used charitable donations, destined for disabled children, to double their already significant salaries and fatten their pension fund.

Out of the 42 health agencies and hospitals that receive funding from the HSE, only 7 are compliant with remuneration policies for senior management, which means the CRC revelations are only the tip of the iceberg.

It’s going to be difficult for any of these hospitals to raise money from the general public this Christmas when it is being used to line management’s pockets.
