So we love this cocktail BUT it’s freakin expensive so we decided to recreate it at home.
The pic is pretty crap but I’d had a couple at this stage!
Here’s the recipe… I think we got pretty close…
2 large measures of gin (coz one is never enough)
1½ large measures of jalapeno & rosemary syrup
1½ small measures of fresh lemon juice
3 – 4 dashes of Creole Bitters
To make the syrup:
Add 2 chopped jalapenos and a large sprig of rosemary to 1 cup sugar and 2 cups of water. Heat until the sugar is dissolved and simmer for around 5 mins. Don’t boil it. Then strain it into a bottle and lash it into the fridge. It will keep for a couple of weeks, so sometimes we make double.

Shake with lots of ice and serve.
