4 habits of highly effective people

Liz Delaneys Welfare Wednesdays

We’ve had it so wrong all this time.

The key to being a success is not education, hard work, ambition and drive.

Not even close.

Here’s the real secret.

  1. Pop out as many kids as you can in your late teens or early twenties
  2. Spend all day off your head on a cocktail of drink and drugs
  3. Break the law as often as possible (but nothing really bad) – just enough to get you a suspended sentence
  4. Get the tax payer to fund all of the above – amounting to €900 a week after tax (the equivalent of an annual salary of €100,000)

Your post put a silly grin on my face as this was the topic of discussion in our house a day ago. I was made redundant and have found a few hours work a week but because I saved for a rainy day my social welfare is about to be axed. So the lesson is live for today because if you are practical, you will be penalized.

Where can we join up????????????? I want the €900 per week!! That will keep me going just nicely… imagine all the crappy writing I can do if I had that much money and all that time to be creative!!!!!! 😉

  3. Hilarious if it wasn’t true – what a sad state of affairs we are in
